12. Will my furniture rust?Although treated against rust, all steel furniture has the potential for rust if the paint is scratched and bare metal is exposed to air and water. Should your furniture develop a scratch in the paint, immediately treat the area by lightly sanding the affected area with extra fine sand paper or steel wool. Treat the area with a rust inhibitor and apply touch up paint.
